Gigabyte Technology India Ltd (Gigabyte Technology) commenced operations in the year 2005. The company operates in the hardware product segment. It is a subsidiary of Taiwan based Gigabyte Technology Co Ltd. During FY07, Gigabyte Technology entered into an alliance with D Link India to carry out the contract manufacturing of motherboards, providing service, repair & back office support. Gigabyte Technology caters exclusively to the domestic market and generates 100% of its revenue from sales of hardware products and peripherals to Indian clients. In future, the company plans to set up more offices in other tier two cities of India as well as foray into the retail space.
